These terms govern the services provided by Harbour & Home Property Services. By booking, you agree to these terms. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Our services
We provide the trade or service described at the time of booking. Any quote or estimate is based on the information you give us; the final price may change if the work needed differs, and we will tell you before doing additional chargeable work where reasonably possible.
Bookings and payment
Bookings are made through our website. Any deposit, balance and payment timing are shown to you before you confirm. Payments are processed securely by Stripe and settle to us directly.
Your right to cancel
Most bookings made online or away from our premises carry a statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. See our Cancellation & Refunds page. Where any business cancellation term conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights prevail.
Our responsibilities
We will carry out our services with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If something is not right, please tell us so we can put it right — see our Complaints page.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Otherwise our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in its courts (or the courts of your home nation within the UK where the law allows).
