This page explains your right to cancel a booking with Harbour & Home Property Services and how refunds work.
Your statutory 14-day right to cancel
Where you book online or away from our premises, you normally have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of making the booking, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and to receive a refund.
This statutory right always overrides any business cancellation policy below. If a term below conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights apply.
If you ask us to start within the 14 days
If you specifically ask us to begin work during the 14-day cancellation period and then cancel, we may charge a proportionate amount for the work already done — but not more than that. You lose the right to cancel only once the service is fully performed with your prior agreement.
Deposits and non-refundable amounts
Any deposit or non-refundable amount reflects a genuine pre-estimate of our costs and can never be more than is proportionate. It cannot be used to override your statutory rights.
How to cancel
Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel — email smoke+torbay@optitechautomation.co.uk, or call 01803298450. We will refund any amount due without undue delay and within 14 days of accepting the cancellation.
