Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules that apply to all users of the OptitechAutomation platform, operated by OptitechAutomation — a UK sole trader (the personal business of Cristian Moise-Putanu), based in Torquay, Devon, United Kingdom.

By accessing or using the platform, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your access.

1. Prohibited Activities

You must not use the platform to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, index, or extract data or content from the platform using any automated means (bots, scripts, crawlers, or scrapers) beyond the normal, manual, permitted use of the platform — any automated access requires our express written permission.
• Harvest personal data about other users without their consent.
• Send unsolicited commercial communications (spam) through or in connection with the platform.
• Use the platform to facilitate harassment, abuse, or threats of violence.
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the platform in a manner that disrupts normal operations.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover, derive, or reconstruct the source code, prompts, algorithms, or trade secrets of the platform (except to the limited extent permitted by section 50B of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, which cannot be excluded).
• Copy, reproduce, duplicate, mirror, frame, embed, or republish the platform, its software, its templates, its design, or its underlying system, in whole or in substantial part.
• Sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise make available access to the platform to any third party.
• Use the platform, or its prompts, templates, methods, or know-how, to build, train, or operate a product or service that competes with it, or to assist anyone else to do so.
• Interfere with the platform's infrastructure, servers, or networks.

2. Business User Obligations

Trade businesses ("Businesses") using the platform additionally must not:

• List services they are not qualified or licensed to provide.
• Charge customers rates materially different from those displayed on the platform without prior disclosure.
• Use the platform to conduct off-platform transactions that circumvent our booking system.
• Misrepresent qualifications, insurance, or regulatory compliance to customers.

3. Content Standards

Any content you upload to the platform (profile descriptions, notes, photos) must:

• Be accurate and not misleading.
• Not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Not contain offensive, discriminatory, or sexually explicit material.
• Not constitute defamation, harassment, or illegal content.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates this AUP without notice.

4. Protecting the Platform's Intellectual Property

OptitechAutomation owns the platform and the intellectual property and trade secrets behind it. This includes the platform software, design, and trade marks, and in particular its underlying systems and confidential methods — the website-generation system together with its prompts, instructions, and templates, and the matchmaking, pooling, and booking-allocation logic. These are protected by copyright, database rights, trade-mark rights, and the law of confidence and trade secrets (including the Trade Secrets (Enforcement, etc.) Regulations 2018).

You must respect these rights. In addition to the prohibitions in Section 1, you must not copy, reproduce, frame, republish, resell, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the platform or its underlying system, and you must not use it or its confidential methods to build or assist a competing product. Where you are given access to any of our confidential information, you must keep it confidential and use it only as needed for your permitted use of the platform.

Your own site content remains yours. If you use the platform to create a website, the content you supply or that is generated for your business at your direction — your business name, descriptions, service listings, uploaded images, and the published text of your pages — belongs to you, and you may keep using it after you leave. What stays with OptitechAutomation is the system that produces it: the generation engine, its prompts, the templates, themes, and components, and the software that renders and hosts your site. You may take your content with you; you may not take, copy, or reuse the engine, templates, or underlying system. Full terms are in our Terms of Service (Section 7).

5. Enforcement

We may, at our sole discretion:

• Issue a warning for minor violations.
• Temporarily suspend access pending investigation.
• Permanently terminate access for serious or repeated violations.
• Report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.

6. Assignment

We may assign, transfer, or otherwise deal with all or part of our rights and obligations under this Policy to any successor entity without your consent, on 30 days' prior written notice.
